1st DAY MORNING or AFTERNOON ARRIVAL  

Upon your arrival being welcomed by your English-Speaking assistant departure to hotel.

Overnight in Athens.

2nd DAY CITY TOUR IN ATHENS.

Breakfast

After breakfast, you will be picked up from our Guide and start the city tour. Start visiting Panathinaiko Stadium, the cradle of the first modern Olympic Games that took place in 1896 (short stop). The stadium is impressive both for its history and for its U- shape which seats more than 70,000 spectators on a surface completely covered in Pendelis white marble, the same used to build the Parthenon. Proceed passing by Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Parliament House, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Russian Orthodox Church, and finally visit Acropolis site, the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: visiting The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum. After the end of the tour return to your accommodation. Overnight in Athens. 

3rd DAY TRAVEL TO SANTORINI. Breakfast

After breakast, transfer to Piraeus port (without escort) to take ferry to Santorini island.

After arrival in Santorini meet your local escort and transfer to hotel.. Free afternoon at leisure.

4th DAY SANTORINI. Breakfast

 After breakfast you will enjoy a full day island tour. First stop at Akrotiri archaeological site (option visit at one of the most important prehistoric settlements of the Aegean-Entrance   fees   12.00   Euro   per   person   not included). Then visit black sandy beach of Perivolos (option lunch). Our next stop will be at Megalochori (30’ stop to explore the village). The tour goes on with a visit of Pyrgos village a village composed of traditional houses built around the Venetian Castle and the small streets follow the shape of the hill. Climbing from the square up to the castle of Pyrgos, the stone houses crowd more densely together and the labyrinth of narrow vaulted lanes becomes more tortuous. The village has many churches, around 33, but the most famous is the Monastery of Profitis Ilias, where a small collection of ethnographic material and old icons are exhibits. You will join the most fabulous panoramic view of the island from Profitis Ilias yard. The monastery is closed, any opens only a few days within the week when the liturgy is held. Pyrgos is a lovely place, winter and summer alike. Besides, you will visit Kasteli village, the village which is on the highest point of Santorini island.  Next stop for winetasting at one of the most interesting wineries of the island. Last but not least visit Oia, where you will admire the wonderful sunset. In Oia the guest can see the houses built one on top of the other, where at the same time the courtyard of one house is the roof of the house below.

End up at hotel. Overnight in Santorini.

5th DAY SANTORINI MORNING. TRAVEL TO HERAKLION, CRETE. Breakfast

Free morning. In the afternoon, transfer to Thira port to take ferry back to Heraklion, Crete

After arrival in Heraklion, meet and transfer to hotel. Check in. Overnight in Heraklion, Crete.

5th DAY HERAKLION & KNOSSOS TOUR Breakfast

After breakfast, check out (leave luggage at hotel storage place), meet with English Speaking Guide  and proceed to half Day Heraklion Sightseeing, incl. the well-known archaeological site of Knossos, situated only 3 miles away from the town's center and is believed to be the largest and most suggestive Minoan site ever discovered. The Palace of Knossos was not only the residence of the ruling house but also an administrative & religious center for the whole region. Then join the market of Heraklion in the district of Pateles, also known as the Gypsy Market where you find everything from vegetables and fruits till clothes and summer shoes. The cheap prices make the market a success for the local people as well as the tourists. The atmosphere feels oriental and the screams of the vendors amuses whoever passes. Free time in Heraklion town. Finish at hotel. Free afternoon.

6th DAY ATHENS – DEPARTURE

Free day in Crete.

In the afternoon departure to Athens

Transfer from port to Airport for departure.
